Introduction
Our client is a well-established veterinary hospital in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. Serving cats, dogs, avian, and exotic pets, the clinic offers advanced facilities and a supportive environment in a beautiful location.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with weekends off. This role offers a consistent daytime schedule with no after-hours or on-call requirements, allowing for a strong work-life balance. Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care, including preventive wellness, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and treatment of a wide variety of species. Strong mentorship available from doctors with over 40 years of combined expertise.
Practice Details
The hospital recently underwent a major renovation, now featuring five spacious exam rooms, a dedicated dental and surgical suite, advanced surgical tools, upgraded anesthesia and monitoring equipment, a high-speed dental unit, and feline-friendly spaces. A 2:1 tech-to-DVM ratio ensures strong clinical support, and the hospital is known for its collaborative, client-centered culture.
Team
The practice currently has 2 experienced veterinarians supported by a highly skilled team of technicians and support staff, many with over 15 years of training and leadership experience, fostering a collaborative and mentoring-focused environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
