Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing full-service veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice focuses on delivering high-quality medicine and fostering a supportive, team-oriented environment where patient care and client experience are the top priorities.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. The role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time schedules, with weekend coverage included on Saturdays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering comprehensive veterinary care including physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventative care tailored to each patient. Responsibilities include performing routine and complex surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal exploratories, and mass removals, as well as routine and advanced dental procedures including radiograph evaluation and extractions. The veterinarian will maintain detailed medical records, develop problem-based diagnostic and treatment plans, manage hospitalized cases, and ensure effective communication with clients and referral hospitals. Collaboration with the wider clinical team, participation in rounds, and contributing to staff development through knowledge sharing are key aspects of the role. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced technology including ultrasound, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital dental radiography (DDXR). The practice offers a wide range of services including vaccinations, routine wellness care, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, illness and injury treatment, imaging, surgery, dentistry, and prescription medication services. The environment emphasizes high-quality medicine, strong clinical support, and continuous development of both veterinarians and support staff.

Team
The team includes a supportive paraprofessional team working collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient and client care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
