Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Open to both full-time and part-time applicants, this opportunity is ideal for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to practice high-quality medicine in an AAHA Accredited hospital. The practice is committed to clinical excellence, continuous learning, and providing exceptional patient care within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for a diverse small animal caseload, including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, urgent care, and surgery. Responsibilities include building lasting client relationships, developing diagnostic and treatment plans, performing surgical procedures, educating pet owners, and collaborating closely with the veterinary and support teams to deliver outstanding patient care. The successful candidate will have access to internal specialty consultations, mentorship opportunities, and educational resources that support continued professional development. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This AAHA Accredited small animal hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, delivering medicine that meets the highest standards of clinical excellence. Services include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, urgent care, cardiology, ophthalmology, anesthesia, spays and neuters, soft tissue surgery, mass removal, dental surgery, vulvoplasty, and cystotomy. The hospital is equipped to manage a broad range of medical and surgical cases while providing veterinarians with access to specialty consultations and advanced clinical resources. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

The hospital is supported by a collaborative team of 3 DVMs and a highly tenured support staff dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. The team values mentorship, collaboration, and continuous professional development, creating an environment where veterinarians are encouraged to grow their clinical skills while practicing high-quality medicine.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
