Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its established team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Caring for dogs and cats, the hospital has served the local community since 1967 and provides comprehensive veterinary care focused on improving patient health and longevity. This opportunity is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians looking to develop their careers within a collaborative, established clinical environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive care across wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, urgent care, and a broad range of surgical procedures. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, developing treatment plans, building lasting relationships with clients, clearly communicating clinical findings, and educating owners about their pets’ health and treatment options. The surgical caseload includes spay and neuter procedures, soft tissue surgery, CCL repair, mass removal, laser surgery, orthopedic surgery, and dental surgery, with anesthesia also provided. You will work collaboratively with the wider clinical and paraprofessional team while contributing to a positive hospital culture. Both new graduates and experienced veterinarians are welcome.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a broad range of veterinary services including internal medicine, cardiology, ophthalmology, oncology, orthopedics, OFA certification, endocrinology, health certificates, laser therapy, physical rehabilitation, animal reproduction, and blood transfusions. The practice also provides wellness and preventative care, advanced testing and diagnostics, surgical procedures, advanced care, and urgent care. The hospital has served Fort Lauderdale since 1967 and holds a 4.8-star Google rating. Opening hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The hospital has 8 DVMs alongside a great tenured support team. The environment is highly collaborative and focused on professional growth, with veterinarians working alongside a supportive paraprofessional team to provide comprehensive care while continuing to develop their clinical skills.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
