Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its established companion animal practice. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets, offering a broad caseload in a collaborative environment with a strong emphasis on quality medicine and client relationships. With over 40 years of serving the local community, the practice has built a reputation for compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care, including wellness examinations, preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and end-of-life care. Responsibilities include examining and diagnosing patients, operating diagnostic equipment, collecting and interpreting diagnostic samples, performing surgical procedures, prescribing medications, educating clients on preventative healthcare and long-term treatment plans, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring compliance with veterinary ethics and professional standards. The role also includes caring for a diverse range of companion animal and exotic patients while working closely with an experienced, team-oriented staff. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The practice is a fully equipped, full-service hospital featuring a state-of-the-art surgical suite with advanced anesthetic equipment and patient monitoring devices, digital radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, and an in-house laboratory. The hospital is affiliated with the American Animal Hospital Association and offers wellness examinations, preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, laser therapy, in-house laboratory services, diagnostic imaging, nutritional support, orthopedic surgery, fracture and ligament repair, joint surgery, soft tissue surgery, cancer surgery, oral surgery, microchipping, spays and neuters, Caesarean sections, and end-of-life care. The practice has served its community for more than 40 years and is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary care while fostering long-term client relationships within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.

Team
The hospital is home to four DVMs who work alongside a collaborative, team-oriented staff committed to providing exceptional patient care. The environment is supportive and welcoming, encouraging mentorship, professional development, and strong teamwork across the practice.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
