A well-established small animal and exotics hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its close-knit, two-veterinarian team. Deeply rooted in the local community, the practice is known for its compassionate approach, long-standing client relationships, and commitment to delivering high-quality, comprehensive veterinary care for pets at every life stage.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates on a predictable daytime schedule with flexibility built in to support work–life balance. In addition to regular weekday hours, the practice runs a weekend clinic every other weekend, ensuring access to care for clients while maintaining a sustainable rota for the veterinary team. Full-time scheduling is available, with thoughtful consideration given to workload and coverage.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide full-spectrum general practice care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets. Your role will include wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery, with the autonomy to practise medicine to a high clinical standard. Clear, empathetic client communication and collaborative case management are central to the position. You’ll work closely with experienced technicians and support staff, contributing to efficient workflows and a positive hospital culture while continuing to grow your clinical skills.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service facility offering preventive care, advanced diagnostics, and treatment all under one roof. Equipment and services include in-house laboratory testing, digital radiography, ultrasound, EKG, cold laser therapy, dentistry, and surgery. The practice also provides exotic pet care, as well as on-site boarding and daycare. A strong emphasis on preventive medicine and timely diagnostics supports excellent patient outcomes and high client satisfaction.

You’ll be joining a collaborative two-veterinarian team supported by skilled technicians and support staff who value teamwork, efficiency, and kindness. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
