Job Description
Introduction
An established, three-doctor small animal hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado is seeking a Veterinarian to join its team. The practice has built a strong reputation within the local community, offering high-quality, relationship-focused care in a supportive and consistent environment where veterinarians are able to focus on delivering excellent medicine while developing long-term client connections.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with Sundays closed, with scheduling structured to provide full-time hours across the week while maintaining a balanced and sustainable rota.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering comprehensive small animal care across preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery, alongside managing a steady flow of sick and urgent care appointments, with an emphasis on building lasting client relationships, practising thorough clinical workups, and collaborating with colleagues to maintain high standards of patient care.
Practice Details
This is a full-service companion animal hospital providing preventative care, advanced diagnostics, dentistry, and surgical services, with a focus on delivering consistent, evidence-based medicine supported by modern equipment and workflows that allow veterinarians the time and resources to manage cases effectively.
Team
You will be joining a team of three veterinarians supported by experienced technicians and support staff, within a collaborative and well-structured environment that encourages communication, consistency, and ongoing professional development.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
