Introduction
This full-service veterinary hospital in Forest Grove, Oregon is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its team of three doctors. The practice provides comprehensive care for companion animals while also seeing exotic pets, offering a varied caseload within an established, community-focused hospital. With a loyal client base, strong clinical support and the flexibility to practise with medical autonomy, this is an opportunity suited to a veterinarian looking for a collaborative general practice environment with exposure beyond traditional canine and feline medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00am to 5:30pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm. Saturdays and Sundays are closed, meaning there is no regular weekend working. The position is full-time, with flexibility around scheduling available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive medical and surgical care across a steady and varied caseload, including wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry and soft tissue surgery. The hospital treats both companion animals and exotic pets, providing additional variety for a veterinarian with an existing interest in exotics or someone interested in developing their experience in this area. You’ll have autonomy over your cases while working alongside the wider veterinary and support team, with an emphasis on long-term client relationships, clear communication and high-quality patient care.

Practice Details
The hospital currently has three veterinarians supported by skilled technicians, assistants and client service staff. The practice has served the Forest Grove community with a focus on preventative healthcare, client education and responsible pet ownership, while providing the resources and clinical support needed for its doctors to practise high-quality medicine. The team encourages collaboration, continued professional development and individual clinical interests, providing an environment where an incoming veterinarian can continue developing their skills while benefiting from the support of an established team.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
