Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Mixed Animal Veterinarian in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. This well-established practice has been a cornerstone of veterinary care since 1973, offering comprehensive services to both small and large animals. The hospital is seeking a veterinarian to join its experienced team and contribute to delivering high-quality, compassionate care across a diverse caseload.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position within a structured schedule that supports a consistent workflow, with care for both small and large animals provided during regular business hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality care across a mixed animal caseload, including both small animals and large animals such as livestock and equine patients. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery including orthopedic procedures, urgent care, and preventative medicine. The role also involves diagnosing and managing complex medical cases, performing procedures, and communicating clearly with clients to support long-term patient health. This position is suited to a veterinarian who enjoys a varied caseload and is committed to practicing high standards of medicine within a collaborative team environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service facility equipped to support a wide range of medical and surgical services for both small and large animals. It offers advanced diagnostics, including in-house laboratory testing, radiology, ultrasound, ECG, and tonometry, alongside comprehensive medical services such as dermatology, cardiology, oncology, endocrinology, and internal medicine. Surgical capabilities include soft tissue and orthopedic procedures such as CCL repair, mass removal, and advanced orthopedic techniques. Additional services include dental care, pain management, behavior therapy, hospice and euthanasia, and emergency and urgent care. The clinic also provides dedicated large animal services, including farm calls, reproductive services, and herd health management, creating a diverse and dynamic caseload within a supportive, community-focused environment.

Team
The practice includes 10 DVMs working alongside a skilled and collaborative support team. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
