Our client is a well-established two-doctor animal hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their compassionate and community-focused team. This small animal general practice provides high-quality, personalized care to dogs and cats in a supportive and welcoming environment. The clinic prides itself on building lasting client relationships and fostering a culture that emphasizes teamwork, mentorship, and a genuine love for animals.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on weekends, offering excellent work-life balance. This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling available to accommodate individual needs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing a range of medical and surgical services, including wellness care, dentistry, surgery, and urgent care. The role also involves conducting diagnostics, interpreting results, and creating comprehensive treatment plans for patients. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply, with mentorship and professional development opportunities available to support continued growth and confidence.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, in-house laboratory capabilities, laser therapy, and ultrasound. A variety of diagnostic tests are available, including bloodwork, urinalysis, and imaging. The clinic provides a broad range of services such as preventive and wellness care, dental procedures, soft tissue surgery, urgent care, parasite prevention, laser treatment, nutritional and behavioral counseling, and senior pet care. Boarding and microchipping services are also available, making it a well-rounded, full-service facility.

Team
The team consists of two experienced DVMs supported by a dedicated and compassionate group of support staff. The working environment is collaborative and caring, with an emphasis on mentorship, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture that prioritizes both patient and employee well-being.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
