Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The practice provides care across a broad range of small animal cases, with a focus on wellness, preventative medicine, dentistry, surgery, and internal medicine. The hospital offers a supportive environment with clinical autonomy, modern facilities, and opportunities for continued learning and development.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied small animal caseload encompassing wellness and preventative care, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, diagnostics, and hospitalization. Responsibilities also include client education and developing long-term relationships with pet owners. The position offers a flexible full-time schedule, with typical daytime shifts and a shared Saturday rotation, with no on-call or overnight responsibilities. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are welcome, with individualized mentorship and hands-on learning available to support new veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and is closed Friday through Sunday. The hospital features a complete dental suite with digital dental radiography, a dedicated surgical suite, digital radiology, therapy laser, EKG, an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, and an isolation ward. Services include wellness and preventative care, vaccinations, parasite prevention, dentistry, general and routine surgery, spays and neuters, internal medicine, diagnostics, radiology, hospitalization, dermatology, allergy and skin care, diabetes management, geriatric medicine, pain management, behavioral and nutritional counseling, weight management, microchipping, and euthanasia services.

Team
The hospital currently has one DVM supported by an experienced team of technicians, assistants, and receptionists. The environment emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, continuous learning, and professional growth, with the support team allowing veterinarians to focus on medicine and patient outcomes.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
