Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal practice seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join a compassionate team that prioritizes comprehensive care for pets and peace of mind for their owners. They are hiring for a full-time Veterinarian to support their mission of providing individualized, high-quality care across wellness, preventative medicine, diagnostics, medical care, surgery, and exotic pet services. The practice sees small animals, exotics, and birds. Each patient is treated as a valued member of the family, with personalized vaccination protocols, a proactive wellness approach, and comprehensive parasite prevention options. The clinic collaborates closely with board-certified internists and radiologists, ensuring access to specialized expertise when needed. Hospitalization is available for pets requiring more intensive monitoring and support.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The role is full time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes conducting wellness exams, diagnostics, basic surgeries, and managing hospitalizations and urgent care cases. The veterinarian will also educate pet owners through personalized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities span wellness and vaccination services, preventative care, medical care, health screening tests, dental care, ultrasound, advanced surgical care, laser therapy, anesthesia and patient monitoring, nutritional counseling, and exotic and avian medicine and surgery.

Practice Details
The clinic is equipped with ultrasonography, cold laser therapy, digital radiology, and high-end in-house laboratory equipment capable of rapid blood analysis. Additional services include spay and neuter surgery, dentistry, dermatology, advanced surgical care, and a wide range of wellness and medical offerings. The practice has access to board-certified internists and radiologists for consultation and offers hospitalization when advanced support is required.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
