Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary practice seeking a Veterinarian to join its team. The practice provides comprehensive care across small animals, exotic pets, and avian patients, with a focus on preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and compassionate patient care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with opportunities for continued clinical development.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will provide wellness examinations, preventative care, diagnostics, treatment planning, and medical management while educating owners and developing individualized care plans for their pets. Clinical responsibilities include routine and soft tissue surgery, spaying and neutering, cryosurgery, exotic and avian medicine and surgery, anesthesia and patient monitoring, urgent care, and management of hospitalized patients. The veterinarian will also utilize diagnostic imaging and in-house testing to investigate illness and work with external specialists when additional internal medicine or radiology expertise is required. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are welcome, with development and mentorship programs available.

Practice Details
The practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Diagnostic and treatment capabilities include ultrasound, digital radiography, cold laser therapy, and a high-end in-house laboratory for rapid bloodwork and diagnostics. Services include wellness and vaccinations, preventative medicine, health screening, medical care, parasite control, nutritional counseling, soft tissue surgery, cryosurgery, spaying and neutering, exotic and avian medicine and surgery, anesthesia and patient monitoring, urgent care, and hospitalization. The practice also has access to consultation with board-certified specialists in internal medicine and radiology to support complex cases.

Team
The practice has three DVMs and operates within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. Veterinarians are encouraged to continue developing their skills and work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality patient care, with professional development available for both new graduates and experienced doctors.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
