Our client is a small animal and exotics veterinary hospital that is currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced and supportive team. The practice provides comprehensive care to a diverse caseload that includes small animals, exotics, and pocket pets, offering a stimulating and rewarding clinical environment. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys variety in their caseload, values high-quality medicine, and is passionate about building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexibility to discuss scheduling preferences. This weekday-only schedule supports a healthy work-life balance while allowing veterinarians to focus on delivering consistent, high-quality care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, the Associate Veterinarian will serve as a trusted partner to clients and their pets, guiding them through every stage of their animal’s healthcare journey. From diagnosis to treatment, the veterinarian will lead patient care with the autonomy to uphold the highest medical standards and will clearly communicate findings and treatment plans to empower clients to make informed decisions. The role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload, ranging from routine wellness and preventative care to advanced diagnostics, surgical procedures, and urgent care needs. This position is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, with support available to help clinicians grow confidently in both small animal and exotic medicine.

The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support advanced diagnostics and high-quality patient care. The clinical environment is intentionally designed to be calm and comfortable, ensuring that both pets and their owners feel at ease during each visit, which allows veterinarians to focus fully on providing exceptional diagnostic and treatment services. Having served the community since 1997, the practice offers full-service medical care and a diverse caseload that includes wellness care, advanced testing and diagnostics, surgical and dental procedures, internal medicine, pain management, laser therapy, and animal reproduction services.

Team
The Associate Veterinarian will join a collaborative team of four DVMs who value teamwork, mentorship, and shared clinical expertise. The veterinary team is supported by a brilliant group of experienced support staff who contribute to a positive, well-organised, and encouraging work environment. This supportive team culture allows veterinarians to thrive both professionally and personally.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
