Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital providing high-volume general practice care, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a medical-forward general practice role within a busy walk-in environment, ideal for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys internal medicine, diagnostics, and preventative care. You will manage a diverse caseload with a strong focus on problem-solving and thorough medical workups, including abdominal ultrasound. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, delivering preventative care, and collaborating with a skilled support team to ensure high standards of patient care. While the hospital has strong surgical capabilities, this role is particularly suited to a veterinarian who prefers medical case management and advanced diagnostics. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is a well-established practice with a strong regional reputation, operating in a modern 9,000 sq. ft. facility designed to support efficient workflows and high-quality care. The facility includes specialized areas such as separate spaces for cats and large dogs, ICU, surgery recovery, and dedicated quarantine rooms including shelter, respiratory, and parvo isolation. The practice offers a wide range of services including vaccinations, treatment of sick pets, microchipping, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, and boarding. With a high support staff ratio and structured systems in place, veterinarians are able to focus on delivering advanced diagnostics and high-level medicine within a collaborative environment. Hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and closed on the weekends.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and well-supported working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
