Our client is a veterinary hospital providing high-volume general practice care, seeking an Associate Veterinarian with 5+ years of experience to join their team on full-time basis. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced clinician with a strong passion for internal medicine who enjoys managing complex medical cases, developing diagnostic plans, and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a medical-focused general practice role within a busy walk-in environment, specifically suited to an experienced veterinarian with a strong interest in internal medicine, diagnostics, and preventative care. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload with a significant emphasis on medical case workups, problem-solving, and advanced diagnostics, including abdominal ultrasound. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, interpreting diagnostic findings, developing treatment plans, managing ongoing medical cases, delivering preventative care, and collaborating closely with a skilled support team to maintain high standards of patient care. While the hospital has strong surgical capabilities, this position is designed for a veterinarian who prefers internal medicine, complex case management, and advanced diagnostic medicine. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of veterinary experience.

Practice Details
The hospital is a well-established practice with a strong regional reputation, operating in a modern 9,000 sq. ft. facility designed to support efficient workflows and high-quality care. The facility includes specialized areas such as separate spaces for cats and large dogs, ICU, surgery recovery, and dedicated quarantine rooms including shelter, respiratory, and parvo isolation. The practice offers a wide range of services including vaccinations, treatment of sick pets, microchipping, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, and boarding. With a high support staff ratio and structured systems in place, veterinarians are able to focus on delivering advanced diagnostics, internal medicine workups, and high-level patient care within a collaborative environment. Hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and closed on weekends.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and well-supported working environment that enables veterinarians to focus on delivering exceptional medical care and advanced diagnostic services.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
