Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their companion animal and limited exotics practice. The clinic provides care for small animals with occasional exotics and is a well-established, progressive practice focused on delivering comprehensive, high-quality care within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 7:00am to 2:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. The role is full-time with flexible scheduling available.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering a wide range of clinical services including preventive care, wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. The role includes performing both soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, utilising diagnostic tools, and managing cases from consultation through to treatment. Strong client communication and collaboration with the wider team are key components of the role. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available to support development.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment technology including full in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, digital dental X-rays, ultrasound, and high-speed dental equipment. Services offered include wellness care, vaccinations, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, nutritional counseling, parasite prevention, senior care, boarding, grooming, microchipping, and care for exotic animals. The clinic provides a comprehensive caseload and promotes a culture that balances high-quality medicine with compassion and teamwork.
Team
The team consists of five DVMs working within a collaborative and supportive environment, with a strong emphasis on mentorship, teamwork, and professional growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
