Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. As an AAHA Accredited practice, the hospital is committed to delivering high-quality veterinary medicine while fostering a collaborative environment where veterinarians are supported in their professional growth and clinical development.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care across a diverse caseload of dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets. Responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, urgent care, surgery, dentistry, client education, and treatment planning while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. The role also includes advanced medical services such as acupuncture, behaviour therapy, laser therapy, ophthalmology, and orthopedics, alongside surgical procedures including spays and neuters, soft tissue surgery, CCL repair, TPLO surgery, mass removals, vulvoplasty, cystotomy, orthopedic surgery, and dental procedures. Veterinarians will work collaboratively with the experienced clinical team while benefiting from mentorship, internal specialty consultations, and a supportive hospital culture. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This AAHA Accredited full-service veterinary hospital provides wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care for dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets. Clinical services include acupuncture, behaviour therapy, laser therapy, ophthalmology, orthopedics, anesthesia, spays and neuters, soft tissue surgery, CCL repair, TPLO surgery, mass removals, orthopedic surgery, vulvoplasty, cystotomy, and dental procedures. The hospital is equipped to manage complex medical and surgical cases while providing access to internal specialty consultations and advanced resources to support exceptional patient care. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The hospital is supported by a collaborative team of 7 DVMs and a highly tenured support staff. The team works together in a supportive, mentorship-focused environment that values collaboration, continuous professional development, and delivering the highest standard of patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
