Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care for cats and dogs in a well-equipped, accredited practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves the full scope of GP responsibilities, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. Doctor hours are open to discussion. The practice welcomes applications from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The practice operates from a state-of-the-art 6,000 sq. ft. facility featuring a surgical suite, dental suite, special procedure room, spacious treatment area, and five exam rooms, including a dedicated feline-only exam room and a comfort room. Equipment includes a surgical laser, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, cold therapy laser, and ultrasound. Services include the full scope of GP care, encompassing wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, as well as laser therapy and laser surgery. The hospital is AAHA accredited, Fear Free certified, and holds Cat Friendly Silver accreditation.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs supported by a great team of support staff. The doctors and technicians are extremely committed and dedicated, working side by side to provide excellent patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
