Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that sees cats and dogs and is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a privately owned hospital offering an opportunity to join a practice committed to high-quality general practice and urgent care services.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Wednesday from 7:30am–6:00pm, Thursday from 8:00am–6:00pm, Friday from 7:30am–6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am–4:00pm, and Sunday from 10:00am–4:00pm. Doctor hours are open to discussion. The position is ideally full-time, though there is openness to discussing part-time options for the right candidate.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, including surgery. The hospital is ideally seeking an experienced veterinarian, though the focus is on delivering comprehensive GP care across cats and dogs within a busy clinical setting.

Practice Details
The hospital is well equipped and offers a full scope of general practice services alongside urgent care. The team also works with board-certified specialists to provide additional services, including orthopedics, ultrasound, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and more.

Team
The practice is led by one owner doctor and supported by a great team of well-trained support staff. The owner is willing to mentor in all areas, fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
