Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on a full-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality care across a broad range of general practice services, including wellness and preventive care, dentistry, surgery, and internal medicine. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic workups, developing treatment plans, carrying out surgical procedures, and delivering dental care. You will also maintain accurate medical records, communicate effectively with clients, and collaborate closely with the team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This is a well-established small animal veterinary practice that has been serving the community for over 40 years. The hospital is AAHA accredited and equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, portable ultrasound, and in-house analyzers. Services offered include advanced care, advanced dental care, dermatology, EKG, soft tissue surgery, preventive care, primary care, anesthesia, dentistry, full diagnostics, general surgery, geriatric medicine, hospitalization, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, pain management, routine surgeries, and urology. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and is closed on Sunday.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
