Introduction
A companion animal veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinarian to join its clinical team in Summer 2027. The position offers an opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced veterinarian to develop clinical confidence and independence within an established General Practice environment, providing preventive healthcare, diagnostic investigation, medical management and surgical care. The practice emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based medicine, effective client communication and the development of long-term relationships with patients and their owners. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative clinical environment, supported by veterinary colleagues and paraprofessional personnel.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will undertake the full scope of GP responsibilities, progressively developing independence in diagnostic investigation, treatment planning and medical and surgical case management. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, communicating clinical findings and treatment recommendations to clients, and contributing to preventive healthcare and ongoing patient management. The position requires sound clinical judgement, effective interpersonal communication and a collaborative approach to working with veterinary colleagues and support personnel. Applicants must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine qualification and possess a valid state veterinary license in good standing. The position will be available from Summer 2027. Specific scheduling/doctor hours to be discussed.

Practice Details
The hospital provides General Practice veterinary services, supporting preventive healthcare, routine consultations, diagnostic investigation and the management of medical and surgical cases. Its clinical approach focuses on maintaining consistent standards of patient care through effective diagnosis, appropriate treatment planning and continuity of veterinary services. The practice is well equipped with modern diagnostic equipment and provides a clinical environment in which veterinarians can develop experience across the principal disciplines of companion animal medicine. Emphasis is placed on compassionate patient management, client education and the development of lasting relationships with pet owners.

Team
The hospital is supported by veterinary professionals and paraprofessional personnel working collaboratively to provide consistent patient care. The incoming Veterinarian will work alongside the clinical team, contributing to shared case management and a supportive professional environment. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
