Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, with additional weekend hours from 8:30am to 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The rota is structured to support continuity of care while maintaining sustainable working patterns, allowing clinicians to manage caseloads effectively across the week.

Role Description and Responsibilities
You will provide high-quality small animal medicine and urgent care, managing cases from initial consultation through diagnosis and treatment. The role places a strong emphasis on clear clinical reasoning, excellent client communication, and delivering care aligned with recognised best-practice standards. You will work collaboratively with fellow veterinarians and a skilled support team, contributing to a positive and professional hospital culture while continuing to develop your clinical skills.

Practice Details
The hospital is a well-established small animal practice focused on medical and urgent care for dogs and cats. AAHA accreditation underpins the hospital’s approach to equipment, protocols, and patient care, ensuring a consistently high standard of medicine across all services. The practice is equipped to support advanced diagnostics and treatment, enabling veterinarians to manage both routine and complex cases with confidence within a structured clinical environment.

Team
You will be part of a supportive and collaborative five-veterinarian team, working alongside experienced technicians and support staff. The team values communication, shared learning, and mutual respect, creating an environment where veterinarians are well supported and encouraged to practise to the highest standard.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
