Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, offering either full-time or part-time opportunities working with cats and dogs.
Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide high-quality, individualized medical care, including performing clinical examinations, diagnosing conditions, and delivering treatment plans.
Responsibilities include conducting dentistry procedures and soft tissue surgeries, treating wounds, administering vaccinations, prescribing medications, and advising clients on general care and treatment options. You will work closely with the team to deliver excellent patient outcomes while building strong relationships with clients and contributing to a collaborative, supportive environment. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is a well-established small animal practice that has been serving its community since 2004, focusing on progressive and individualized medicine. It is equipped with Heska diagnostic equipment, digital dental radiography, three exam rooms, and a fully equipped surgical suite. Additional clinical support includes partnerships with a visiting board-certified radiologist and orthopedic surgeon. The practice emphasizes a collaborative and positive culture with strong support for professional growth and high standards of care. Hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekends closed.
Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a close-knit, collaborative, and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
