Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited full-service small animal practice. The hospital provides comprehensive care for companion animals, with a broad mix of wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, routine soft-tissue surgery, and emergency services. In addition to small animal care, the hospital also sees exotics including reptiles, small mammals, and other companion species. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels.

Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time, part-time, or relief flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a diverse caseload including wellness visits, internal medicine cases, dentistry, routine soft-tissue surgery, emergency care, and diagnostic evaluations. Responsibilities include performing surgical procedures such as spays and neuters, utilizing ultrasound and radiology, delivering preventive care programs, managing anesthesia and pain control, and maintaining strong client communication. The role supports collaborative teamwork, case continuity, and practicing high-quality medicine within AAHA standards. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital voluntarily meets rigorous standards across multiple areas including anesthesia, surgery, pain management, patient care, medical records, and client service. The modern facility is equipped with ultrasound, echocardiography, EKG, Tonopen, digital dental radiography, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, and a surgical suite. Services include Dermatology, Feline Hyperthyroidism management, Soft Tissue Surgery, Preventive Medicine, Dentistry, Emergency Care, Full Diagnostics, General Surgery, Geriatric Medicine, Radiology, and Pain Management. The hospital serves a diverse urban client base and offers a dynamic, fast-paced caseload.

The hospital is supported by 6 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative, team-driven environment with strong technician support.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
