Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This is a full-time position working with dogs and cats. The practice is a full-service hospital that has been caring for the local community for decades, offering a welcoming environment focused on building long-term client relationships and delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care including preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and emergency services. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, vaccinations, spay and neuter procedures, dental care, and treatment of medical conditions, as well as utilizing diagnostic imaging and therapies such as laser treatment. The role involves working collaboratively with the team to deliver patient-centered care and maintain strong client relationships. Doctor hours follow a full-time schedule. This position supports a collaborative environment with a focus on professional growth.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed on weekends. The practice offers a full range of services including preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, emergency services, radiography, and laser therapy. The facility supports a variety of treatments and diagnostics designed to deliver high-quality veterinary care in a comfortable and welcoming setting. The practice emphasizes a culture of collaboration, mentorship, and a strong focus on both patient care and client experience.
Team
The team consists of two DVMs supported by a dedicated group of veterinary technicians and support staff, fostering a collaborative, supportive, and team-oriented environment focused on delivering excellent patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
