Our client is a hospital providing care for small animal patients and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and is ideal for an experienced veterinarian seeking a modern practice environment supported by advanced technology, a highly trained paraprofessional team, and a strong commitment to quality medicine. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care through physical examinations, disease diagnosis and treatment, preventative medicine, and client education. Responsibilities include developing diagnostic and treatment plans, interpreting diagnostic test results, maintaining detailed medical records, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity of patient care. Clinical exposure includes preventative medicine, wellness care, day hospitalization, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostic medicine. Surgical responsibilities include routine and advanced procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal exploratory surgery, and mass removals. Dental responsibilities include full oral examinations, interpretation of dental radiographs, routine dental procedures, simple and complex extractions, and oral surgery. The role also includes participating in medical rounds, supporting team education, and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient and client experiences. This position is intended for experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service small animal practice equipped with ultrasound technology, heated hydraulic surgery tables, digital diagnostic radiography, and advanced dental capabilities. Services offered include routine wellness care, vaccinations, microchipping, illness and injury treatment, diagnostic imaging, flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, surgery, dentistry, and hospitalization services. The practice emphasizes a problem-based medical approach, comprehensive diagnostics, preventative healthcare, and continuity of patient care. Veterinarians are supported by experienced medical leadership and a skilled paraprofessional team with expertise in areas including dentistry and nutrition. Hospital hours are Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
