Job Description

Introduction
A well-established, six-doctor small animal hospital in Eugene, Oregon is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced and collaborative team. With over 40 years of service in the community, this practice offers a strong reputation, a loyal client base, and a supportive environment focused on tailored patient care, mentorship, and long-term professional growth.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, with Sundays closed, offering a structured schedule that supports consistency and work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care including wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry, managing cases from consultation through treatment while building strong client relationships and working closely with a highly skilled team to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

Practice Details
This is a well-equipped general practice with in-house ultrasound, dental radiography, and a recently remodeled facility, supporting an efficient workflow and a manageable daily caseload that allows for thorough, patient-focused medicine.

Team
You will be joining a team of six veterinarians supported by a highly experienced group of certified technicians, assistants, and client service representatives, within a collaborative culture that emphasizes teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous development.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
