Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their close-knit, family-oriented practice in Erin, Tennessee. This small animal clinic is dedicated to providing high-quality wellness and urgent care services to a loyal clientele across Erin and the surrounding communities. The position is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who values strong team support and a varied caseload, including an opportunity to further develop surgical skills or focus solely on medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital provides urgent care during regular clinic hours. The hospital is open Monday to Friday 8 am – 6 pm and is closed on the weekends ensuring a healthy work life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering a broad range of services including wellness exams, diagnostics, internal medicine, dentistry, urgent care, and surgery. The role is well-suited to a veterinarian who enjoys a diverse caseload with the flexibility to tailor their focus toward either medicine or surgery. The practice environment supports professional growth and offers the unique opportunity to explore clinic leadership without ownership responsibilities.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service facility equipped to handle a wide range of veterinary services, from routine care to advanced diagnostics. Services offered include internal medicine, dental care, allergy treatment, geriatrics, preventive care, puppy and kitten wellness, and emergency care during open hours. The clinic also offers both regular and medical overnight boarding. The facility is Fear Free Certified and designed to support a low-stress environment for patients and staff alike.

Team
The team currently includes one DVM and a strong group of experienced veterinary nurses, assistants, and client service representatives. The culture is collaborative and supportive, fostering a positive and growth-focused atmosphere ideal for a veterinarian.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
