Our client is a full-service small animal hospital seeking either an Associate Veterinarian or a Medical Director to join their compassionate and community-focused team. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Saturdays and Sundays closed. There are no after-hours, on-call, or weekend requirements, providing exceptional work–life balance. The role can accommodate full-time scheduling and offers a stable, consistent weekly structure ideal for veterinarians seeking predictability in their routine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role offers two potential career paths: Associate Veterinarian or Medical Director. As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide high-quality small animal care across preventive medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, geriatrics, surgery, oncology, diagnostics, and cold laser therapy. You will work closely with clients to ensure exceptional communication and compassionate guidance while practicing progressive medicine with the support of modern diagnostic tools and a dedicated clinical team. For candidates pursuing the Medical Director role, additional responsibilities include providing strong clinical leadership, mentoring associate veterinarians, overseeing medical standards, supporting hospital operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Both paths require a minimum of three years of clinical experience, with the ideal candidate bringing excellent diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a wide range of services including preventative care, internal medicine, dental care, geriatric support, oncology, soft tissue surgery, advanced orthopedic procedures, diagnostics, cold laser therapy, and an in-house laboratory. The facility includes a dedicated surgical suite, a dedicated dental suite, new digital radiography, ultrasound equipment, and an on-site pharmacy. The practice operates within a collaborative, team-oriented culture that emphasizes high medical standards, consistent workflow, and a positive experience for pets, clients, and staff members.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
