Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team in a general practice capacity. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care across preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and general medical cases, with a strong emphasis on high-quality medicine, client relationships, and collaborative care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive general practice care for small animal patients, including wellness examinations, preventative medicine, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, communicating clearly with clients, educating pet owners on their pets’ health and ongoing care, and collaborating with the wider veterinary and support team to achieve strong patient outcomes. The role is suited to a veterinarian who values teamwork, client relationships, and maintaining high clinical standards.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The AAHA-accredited facility offers a comprehensive range of services including wellness and preventative care, vaccinations, dermatology, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, spay and neuter procedures, senior wellness, microchipping, and in-house laboratory services. Surgical capabilities include soft tissue procedures such as mass removals, foreign body removals, wound repair, and eye surgeries. The practice supports high-quality medicine through advanced diagnostic capabilities and a clinical environment focused on continued learning and development.

Team
The practice includes three DVMs supported by a dedicated and collaborative support team. The environment promotes teamwork, mentorship, and professional growth, providing veterinarians with a supportive setting in which to deliver high-quality care to an established client base.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
