Associate Veterinarian

Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on a full-time basis, although part-time applicants will also be considered. The hospital cares for cats and dogs and is looking for a veterinarian to become part of its supportive team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role offers the opportunity to provide the full scope of general practice veterinary care for cats and dogs. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. The practice welcomes applications from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Flexible scheduling is available with either 8 or 10-hour shifts, with rotating weekends where needed.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is equipped with the latest veterinary technology, including in-house laboratories, digital radiography, ultrasound and cold laser equipment. As an AAHA-accredited practice, the hospital is committed to using Fear Free techniques wherever possible. The practice provides the full scope of general practice services, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry and cold laser therapy.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs working within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
