Introduction
Our client is a well-established, full-service hospital in Elgin, IL, seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The clinic has been providing high-quality veterinary care for over 60 years and treats cats, dogs and exotics. The hospital is part of a multi-location group and is known for its compassionate approach, strong community ties, and dedication to mentorship and professional development.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. It is closed on Thursdays and Sundays. This is a full-time position, and while specific doctor hours are not detailed, the schedule offers a predictable weekday structure with rotating weekend coverage and no after-hours responsibilities.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of medical and surgical services, including preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, and dental procedures. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
