Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats and is currently hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join their team.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the role can be structured as either full-time or part-time.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves the full scope of general practice responsibilities, supporting both routine and more complex cases. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped and offers a full range of general practice services, alongside urgent care and laser therapy.
Team
The team consists of four DVMs working alongside a strong support staff, with a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio and Licensed Veterinary Technicians available to assist in daily clinical work.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
