Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their full-service veterinary practice providing care for dogs and cats. The hospital focuses on delivering high-quality veterinary medicine in a collaborative environment where veterinarians are supported by modern equipment, skilled paraprofessional teams, and leadership dedicated to advancing clinical standards. This opportunity allows veterinarians to practice comprehensive medicine while building strong relationships with pets and their owners.
Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, providing extended hours to support client accessibility and patient care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for companion animals. Responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, providing preventive care based on patient lifestyle and environment, and developing diagnostic and treatment plans using a problem-based medical approach. The role also involves performing routine and advanced surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal exploratory procedures, and mass removals, as well as routine and complex dental procedures including full oral examinations, dental radiograph evaluation, and extractions.
Practice Details
The hospital operates as part of a full-service veterinary network providing comprehensive companion animal care. The facility is equipped with ultrasound in every hospital, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital diagnostic radiography (DDXR) to support high-quality patient care. Services offered include routine wellness exams, vaccinations, microchipping, dental cleanings, soft tissue surgery, laboratory diagnostics, and urgent sick care.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
