Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a progressive and well-equipped hospital located in Edgewater, NJ, currently seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians, including those seeking leadership opportunities, and new graduates looking to grow in a supportive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality veterinary care, with clinical responsibilities that may include dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, routine wellness, and preventive medicine. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital features separate treatment rooms for dogs and cats, a designated surgery suite, a high-speed fiberoptic dental unit, digital dental and full-body radiography, and access to ultrasonography services. A certified rehabilitation doctor is on staff, and the facility includes an adjacent physical rehabilitation center. The culture promotes collaboration and clinical excellence in a modern, spacious setting with private parking.

Team
The practice is currently a 2-DVM clinic supported by a skilled and experienced team, particularly in the areas of surgery and dentistry. The environment is both collaborative and growth-focused.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
