Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal and exotics practice hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic provides general practice and urgent care services, offering a diverse caseload across dogs, cats, and exotics including small mammals, birds, and reptiles.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with Sunday closed. The role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Responsibilities include performing physical and wellness exams, administering vaccinations, and managing a mix of general practice, urgent care, and occasional walk-in cases. The role involves delivering high-quality, science-based medicine, maintaining strong client communication, and collaborating with the team to provide comprehensive patient care.

The clinic is a modern facility equipped with digital dental X-rays, ultrasound, cautery, and a full in-house laboratory. It offers a diverse caseload and emphasizes a Fear Free approach to patient care and client communication. Team
The team consists of skilled veterinary assistants and technicians who support advanced clinical tasks, creating an efficient and collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
