Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal practice providing care to dogs and cats. The hospital is seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine within a supportive and collaborative team environment. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes a broad range of clinical responsibilities such as wellness exams, preventative care, vaccinations, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. Additional duties include diagnostics, anesthesia, pain management, and managing both routine and more complex medical cases. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available. The role also involves building strong client relationships and working collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality patient care.

Practice Details
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital that has been serving the community since 1997, with an extensive and established client base. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostics including digital radiology, ultrasound, echocardiography, in-house laboratory services, and a fully equipped surgical suite. Additional services include preventative care, wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, microchipping, dentistry with dental radiography, general and soft tissue surgery, hospice care, pain management, and full diagnostic services. The hospital follows fear-free and cat-friendly practices, supporting a low-stress environment for patients. The practice also collaborates with specialists for advanced diagnostics and procedures when required. Hospital opening hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00 am–7:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am–4:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am–12:00 pm, and Sunday closed.

Team
The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with a strong focus on mentorship, teamwork, and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
