Our client is a small animal practice seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Rumford, Rhode Island. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with a schedule that supports work-life balance. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with no weekend hours required. There are no after-hours or on-call responsibilities, allowing veterinarians to enjoy their personal time outside of work.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a range of services, including wellness exams, diagnostics, and surgical care for small animals. Daily responsibilities involve performing medical examinations, managing patient cases, and communicating effectively with pet owners to deliver exceptional care and build trust. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering an inclusive and supportive environment for professional development.

Practice Details
This well-equipped practice offers comprehensive services, including dental care, radiology, ultrasonography, and an in-house laboratory. Additional offerings include surgical services, vaccinations, pain management, tonometry, parasite prevention, and nutritional counselling. The hospital also provides care for small mammals and focuses on preventive medicine, including puppy and kitten care. The facility includes a fully stocked pharmacy to ensure seamless patient care and convenience for clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
