Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role involves working with dogs and cats in a modern small animal hospital, delivering comprehensive care within a highly supported and collaborative environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes a wide range of general practice responsibilities, including wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Daily duties involve routine exams, managing medical cases, performing surgical procedures, and delivering preventative care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, and is suited to someone who values collaboration and is interested in practicing high-quality medicine with access to advanced services.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 3:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. It is an AAHA-accredited, state-of-the-art facility equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratories, laser therapy, endoscopy, cryotherapy, and advanced surgical and dental suites. The hospital offers a full range of services including preventative care, diagnostics, general and advanced surgery, dentistry, ultrasound, puppy and kitten care, vaccinations, spay and neuter, and senior pet care. Additional on-site specialty services include cardiology, surgery, internal medicine, and radiology, supporting a higher level of care. The practice emphasizes advanced diagnostics, individualized treatment plans, and a collaborative approach within a modern, well-equipped facility.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a tenured support staff, with a strong staff-to-doctor ratio and a collaborative environment that enables veterinarians to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
