Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role involves working with cats and dogs in a well-established small animal practice, delivering comprehensive care within a modern and supportive clinical environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes a wide range of general practice responsibilities, including wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. Daily duties involve routine exams, managing medical cases, performing surgical procedures including advanced and orthopedic surgeries, and delivering preventative care. The position is open to experienced veterinarians only and is suited to someone with at least 2 years of clinical experience who is confident practicing high-quality medicine within a collaborative team.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Tuesday from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Wednesday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Thursday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. The practice is a full-service hospital with a modern facility that has been expanded and updated, featuring fully equipped surgical and dental suites, digital and DR radiology, digital dental X-rays, radiosurgery, advanced surgical lighting, and a full in-house IDEXX laboratory. Services include preventative care, diagnostics, surgery including general and orthopedic procedures, vaccinations, microchipping, nutritional counseling, and routine health exams. The hospital also performs abdominal ultrasounds and collaborates with specialists for services such as echocardiography and surgical consults, supporting a high standard of care.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
