Our client is a hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian for either a full-time or part-time opportunity working with cats, dogs, avian species, reptiles, and small mammals. This position is ideal for a veterinarian seeking a collaborative environment with access to advanced medicine, updated facilities, and mentorship opportunities within a diverse companion animal caseload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care including wellness and preventive medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine services for a wide range of species. The role involves managing a varied caseload, performing routine surgeries and medical workups, and collaborating closely with a skilled support team to provide high-quality patient and client care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available for those seeking additional guidance and professional development.

Practice Details
This companion animal hospital features a newly renovated facility with updated surgical suites and modern equipment designed to support high-quality veterinary medicine. The practice offers advanced care services including EKG, ultrasound, tonopen, OFA X-rays, radiology, in-house laboratory diagnostics, in-house pharmacy, dentistry, internal medicine, pain management, surgery, hospitalization, and preventive care services. The hospital also provides wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, geriatric medicine, spays and neuters, and care for avian, reptilian, and small mammal patients. The practice promotes a collaborative, Fear Free and hands-free environment with strong mentorship and team support. Hospital hours are Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and closed Saturday and Sunday. The hospital is also AAHA accredited and maintains high standards of veterinary care and patient safety.

Team
The hospital currently has 2 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team of 11 staff members. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and mentorship-focused, encouraging teamwork and professional growth for veterinarians at all stages of their careers.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
