Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian position. The practice focuses on small animal and companion animal care and is seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with the practice closed on Sundays. The role is full-time, with rotating weekend coverage as part of the schedule. After-hours or emergency duties are to be discussed with the practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available. The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive primary care, preventive medicine, and medical management for small animal patients. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, diagnostics, preventive care, soft tissue and routine surgical procedures including spays and neuters, dentistry with dental radiographs, anesthesia, pain management, and hospitalization. The role also involves building strong client relationships, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to a positive, team-focused culture centered on exceptional patient care.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a clean, well-equipped clinical environment with modern infrastructure to support high standards of care. Equipment and facilities include digital radiology, dental x-rays, laser therapy, tonopen, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, and an in-office surgical suite. Services offered span preventive care, adult and senior wellness, vaccinations, parasite control, flea and tick prevention, microchipping, weight management programs, allergy and dermatology care, dentistry, general and soft tissue surgery, diagnostics, radiology, hospitalization, geriatric medicine, health certificates, euthanasia services, and reduced-cost vaccine clinics. Team
The team consists of 2 full-time doctors, 4 full-time highly skilled technicians including 2 credentialed technicians, and 2 client service representatives, supported by a strong and collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
