Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is open to both full-time and part-time candidates and involves working with cats, dogs, rabbits, exotics, and pocket pets in a well-established, community-focused practice that values collaboration and high-quality care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes a broad range of general practice responsibilities, including wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. Daily duties involve routine exams, managing medical cases, performing surgical procedures such as spay and neuter, and delivering preventative care including vaccinations and parasite control. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering a supportive environment with opportunities to build clinical confidence, develop client relationships, and practice thoughtful medicine within a collaborative team.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm, and is open most Saturdays. It is an AAHA-accredited facility offering services including wellness exams, advanced diagnostic imaging, surgery, diagnostic testing, vaccinations, dental care, parasite prevention, spay and neuter, microchipping, dental radiology, mobile veterinary services, acupuncture, laser therapy, health certificates, end-of-life care, dermatology, behavior support, nutrition, and urgent care. The practice emphasizes a balanced caseload, strong client relationships, and a supportive, efficient working environment with a focus on quality medicine.
Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a tenured and experienced support staff, creating a collaborative and well-structured environment that allows veterinarians to focus on patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
