Introduction
An established veterinary hospital in Easley, South Carolina is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced team. Serving Easley, Powdersville and the surrounding communities since 2001, the hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats within a full-service General Practice environment. Applications are welcomed from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with the opportunity to join an established four-veterinarian team offering a broad medical, surgical and dental caseload alongside Urgent Care and advanced in-house diagnostic capabilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of General Practice responsibilities, including wellness and preventive care, diagnostic investigation, treatment planning, dentistry, surgery and ongoing medical management. The successful veterinarian will maintain responsibility for their own cases, developing appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans and communicating clinical findings and recommendations effectively with clients. The hospital’s Urgent Care and advanced diagnostic capabilities provide additional opportunities to investigate and manage more involved cases, while the established veterinary and support teams provide a collaborative environment for case discussion and continued clinical development. The position has no on-call requirement, with the final appointment of the day scheduled for 5:30 PM.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of GP services, alongside Urgent Care, advanced diagnostic imaging, Dentistry, Surgery, Dermatology, Behavioral Care, Nutritional Management and in-house Grooming. A particularly notable clinical resource is the hospital’s in-house Ultrasound and Echocardiography service, which is led by a board-certified Internal Medicine specialist with more than 20 years of experience in advanced ultrasound and cardiac imaging. Ultrasound studies and echocardiograms are interpreted in-house with detailed reports available to support diagnosis and treatment planning. The hospital also has a dedicated surgical suite with modern patient monitoring equipment supporting medical and surgical case management. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Team
The hospital has an established four-veterinarian team, supported by a strong clinical and administrative team with an approximate 2:1 staff-to-doctor ratio. The veterinary team brings a broad range of General Practice experience, with additional access to a board-certified Internal Medicine specialist who provides in-house Ultrasound and Echocardiography support. This established structure provides opportunities for collaborative case management and continued clinical development while giving the incoming veterinarian substantial day-to-day support across appointments, diagnostics, procedures and patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
