Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join its small animal practice. The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats in a supportive, collaborative environment where quality medicine, client relationships, and professional development are highly valued. The practice welcomes veterinarians of all experience levels, including new graduates, and offers a flexible schedule to support a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive companion animal care, including wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, urgent care, dentistry, ophthalmic surgery, pain management, and end-of-life care. Responsibilities include examining and diagnosing patients, collecting and interpreting diagnostic samples, performing surgical procedures, prescribing medications, advising clients on preventative care and treatment options, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring compliance with veterinary ethics and professional standards. The role also involves building long-term client relationships while delivering thoughtful, high-quality medicine in a collaborative environment. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The practice features three exam rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, a dedicated dental suite, digital radiology, a full in-house IDEXX laboratory, with ultrasound and a surgical laser being added. Services include pet wellness care, preventative medicine, diagnostics, blood work, urinalysis, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmic surgery, dentistry, radiology, ultrasound, urgent care, pharmacy services, pain management injections, vaccinations, and end-of-life care. The hospital emphasizes early disease detection through routine diagnostics and baseline testing, while fostering strong communication and collaboration with clients to provide personalized, high-quality care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Team
The hospital is staffed by two DVMs who work within a supportive and collaborative team environment that values mentorship, communication, and professional growth. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
