Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service dog and cat hospital hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian. Originally founded in the 1970s as a house-call-only practice, they have grown into a full-service hospital nestled in a charming, converted barn in Eagle, MI.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for a full scope of GP responsibilities, working with both cats and dogs. The role includes providing comprehensive veterinary care across wellness, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry and urgent care services. Veterinarians enjoy a great work-life balance with no late evenings or weekend hours, and doctor hours are open to discussion. The hospital is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a full scope of GP services in addition to urgent care. The practice is equipped with a full in-house lab, digital x-ray, laser therapy, and Phovia. Hospital hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7 AM – 6 PM, Wednesday from 8 AM – 5 PM, and the hospital is closed on weekends.

Team
The hospital currently has 3 DVMs supported by a great team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
