Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for small animal patients while working closely with a skilled support team to deliver high-quality medicine. Responsibilities include examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, client communication, and building long-term relationships with clients within the local community. The role also involves contributing to a collaborative and positive hospital culture focused on teamwork and patient care. The hospital is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, offering mentorship alongside continued professional growth opportunities. The position offers a four-day work week with no weekends or on-call responsibilities, supporting an excellent work life balance.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service veterinary practice offering medicine, surgery, dentistry, and boarding services. The clinic is committed to delivering exceptional patient care using modern tools and a collaborative clinical approach. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm, with the practice closed on weekends. The practice emphasizes supportive teamwork, strong client service, and creating an environment where veterinarians can practice confidently and continue developing their skills.

Team
The hospital currently has a team of four veterinarians supported by an experienced staff dedicated to patient care and client service. The culture emphasizes collaboration, support, and maintaining a positive workplace where team members can thrive professionally and personally.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
