This independently owned veterinary hospital in Duvall, Washington is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and community-focused team. Serving the local community for more than 30 years, the practice has built a strong reputation for high-quality medicine, surgery, and compassionate client care. Following a transformational $3 million remodel completed in 2023, the hospital now operates from a modern, state-of-the-art facility designed to support exceptional patient care, team wellbeing, and continued growth. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animal patients while working closely with an experienced support team to deliver high-quality medicine. Responsibilities include wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, client communication, and maintaining accurate medical records. The hospital values strong communication, collaboration, and compassionate patient care, with appointment schedules designed to support quality interactions and thorough medicine. Annual wellness appointments are typically scheduled for 30 minutes, while senior wellness and sick appointments are scheduled for 45 minutes. The practice also reserves same-day appointments for urgent cases where possible. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and continued professional development encouraged. Flexible scheduling options are available, including four-day or five-day work weeks, with no weekend opening currently in place.

Practice Details
The hospital recently completed a major renovation that combined two buildings into a single 5,000 square foot facility featuring six exam rooms, a dedicated dental suite, fully equipped surgery suite, separate dog and cat wards, an isolation area, doctor and management offices, and a dedicated staff break room. The practice is equipped with advanced technology including ultrasound, therapy laser, digital and dental radiography, an Idexx in-house laboratory, and an in-house pharmacy. The hospital is Feline Friendly certified and incorporates Fear Free principles into daily practice to support patient comfort and low-stress handling. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on weekends. Team
The hospital currently has a team of three veterinarians supported by a strong and experienced support staff, maintaining approximately a 2:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio.
