Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a growing two-doctor veterinary practice in Dublin, CA, hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This small animal hospital cares for dogs and cats and offers a diverse caseload that includes medical, dental, and surgical cases. The practice is committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care while fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace, with a strong emphasis on client education and comprehensive care.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Thursday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Role Description and Responsibilities
Clinical responsibilities include providing high-quality veterinary care with a focus on medical, dental, and surgical procedures. The role also involves building and maintaining strong client relationships through communication and education, collaborating with the veterinary team in a positive environment, ensuring timely and efficient case management with thorough medical records, and educating clients on preventive care, nutrition, and overall pet health. This position is for an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
The hospital offers general services including pet microchipping, dental radiology, spay and neuter procedures, wellness exams, dental care, parasite prevention, vaccinations, pet surgeries, diagnostic testing, and advanced diagnostic imaging. Additional services include end-of-life support, pet prescriptions, dermatology and allergy care, and pet nutrition. The caseload includes dogs and cats.
Team
The practice is supported by 2 DVMs and 13 support staff within a collaborative environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
