Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking to hire a Mixed Animal Veterinarian. This clinic provides care for dogs, cats, horses, livestock, and exotic hooved animals, offering a diverse and engaging caseload. The surrounding community trusts this practice deeply, evidenced by their excellent 4.9-star Google rating. They are open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves the full scope of general practice responsibilities across a mixed animal caseload. Daily duties will include a combination of clinical work tailored to the needs of the patients, with doctor hours to be discussed. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, making it a suitable opportunity for those looking to develop their skills or continue advancing their career in a supportive environment.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The practice is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, and an endoscope, but is not limited to this. Services offered include a full scope of GP services, urgent care, equine endoscopy, oncology, cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, laser therapy for dogs and cats, and pet acupuncture.

Team
The team consists of 12 DVMs supported by a well tenured team of support staff, fostering a collaborative and stable working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
