Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a thriving practice that treats every pet as if they were their own. They are seeking a collaborative and confident Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated and growing team.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with alternating Saturdays open from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The hospital is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role includes full general practice responsibilities, with a focus on high-quality, individualized patient care and strong client communication. Duties include preventive care, diagnostics, treatment, and surgery, along with opportunities to develop skills in specialized areas such as ultrasonography and orthopedics. The practice emphasizes collaboration, continued learning, and delivering compassionate, personalized veterinary medicine.
Practice Details
This is a well-established small animal clinic known for exceptional client service and individualized care. The hospital offers a full in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, dental radiographs, ultrasound, and endoscopy. Services include comprehensive wellness and vaccination programs, diagnostics and treatment for medical conditions, ultrasonography, orthopedic procedures, soft tissue surgery (including spay and neuter), and dental cleanings and treatments to prevent dental disease. The facility is well-equipped to support advanced medical and surgical procedures and provides a welcoming, supportive environment for both staff and clients.
Team
The hospital is home to four DVMs and a great support team, ensuring efficient, high-quality care for every patient. The environment is collaborative and supportive, fostering confidence, communication, and professional growth for all team members.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
