Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a small animal practice providing care to cats and dogs. The hospital is seeking a veterinarian to work within a collaborative environment that supports a variety of medical and surgical cases while encouraging professional growth and development. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care, including managing sick and urgent care cases, diagnostics, surgery, pain management, parasite prevention, and end-of-life care. Responsibilities also include promoting exceptional client experiences, supporting the human-animal bond, managing multiple patients and priorities efficiently, and contributing to staff development through clinical training support. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
Our client is a small animal veterinary clinic that has been serving the community since the 1980s. The practice is equipped with digital radiographs, a dedicated surgery suite, ultrasound, and strong diagnostic capabilities through both in-house testing and partnerships with external laboratories. Additional services include dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, microchipping, pain management, parasite prevention, sick and urgent care, and end-of-life care. The hospital also offers indoor boarding kennels with an outdoor walking area and collaborates with referral centers in Georgia and Florida when advanced diagnostics or treatments are required. The practice supports flexible scheduling through an easy-to-use mobile app and provides an online pharmacy for clients. Hospital opening hours are Monday to Thursday 7:30 am–5:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am–2:00 pm, and closed on weekends.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, leadership, and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
